The Reverend Thomas A. Sweet

The Reverend Thomas A. Sweet has been the pastor of the Market Square Presbyterian Church since 2012.  Prior to coming to Harrisburg, he spent the previous nineteen years as a pastor in Jamestown, New York and, before that, in Baltimore, Maryland.  He is married to Lori who owns Lori Sweet Studios, a reflexology and life coaching business, in Lemoyne.  They have four children – Molly, Katy (deceased), Jaymes, and Emily.  A voracious reader, Tom loves “stories” and in his ministry encourages the sharing and appreciation of personal and social stories as a way of building communities of justice and hope.
