Jolene Reid

Jolene Reid became part of the Refugee Resettlement Program in August 2015. She spent the last 6 years at the Mifflin County Assistance Office where she worked initially as a clerk and became a SNAP, Medicaid, and TANF cash caseworker. Jolene has lived abroad in England and Scotland and worked for an online game development company in Germany for over a decade where she was afforded the ability to meet and work with diverse customers and coworkers from around the world. As an immigrant herself to the United Kingdom and wife of an immigrant to the United States, she appreciates and understands the difficulties and advantages to living in a new country with its many opportunities as well as frustrations.
