Crystal Rayzer

Crystal Rayzer oversees workforce development programs, ESL non-credit instruction, and adult education for Harrisburg Area Community College. These programs provide academic skill development, professional training enhancement, and adult basic education —designed to hone the job skills employers need today—at five campus locations throughout central Pennsylvania. Career education is a critical component of the Community College Initiative.

Ms. Rayzer has over 20 years of experience in education and community development, working to improve the quality of life for citizens. She has taught Developmental Reading at Bloomsburg University, secondary Reading, Adult Basic Education classes, and GED Prep classes. In addition to her role as an instructor, she has served as a curriculum developer, program coordinator, a high school administrator, school improvement specialist and, most recently, as the Director of the Adult Education Pathways department at HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College. Crystal has an M.Ed from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania.
