Starting a business is no easy endeavor. This fact is doubly true for recently arrived immigrants and refugees, but despite the clear challenges, there are exciting opportunities in business ownership for new arrivals into our country. However, additional support is often needed to turn entrepreneurial dreams into successful businesses. This session will provide a realistic view of the challenges facing immigrant and refugee entrepreneurs, but also highlight clear examples of how to create pathways to business success.
